Welcome to Allan Photography of Modesto CA. We specialize in creative, yet affordable professional photography for Modesto, Ceres, Turlock, Riverbank, Oakdale, Ripon, and Manteca, as well as Merced County, and the Central Valley of California.

This site is primarily for Senior Portraits. But we offer Wedding Photography, Portrait Photography, Family Photography, Baby and Maternity Photography, and event Photography. You are welcome to visit our Main Galleries or our Client Galleries. You can visit any of these sites by clicking the links tab above, or from any page click the licks tab.

You’ll find our photography prices very affordable. We have worked hard to keep our overhead low to allow us maintain competitive photography prices, and we don’t believe high prices mean high quality.

Ashley, Grace Davis High School Senior Portraits

Ashley is a senior at Grace Davis High School, in Modesto. We met her at CSU Stanislaus on Saturday for her Senior Portrait Session.

David just finished his Accounting degree at CSU Stanislaus. He’s looking forward to a little time off then relocating to the Bay area to begin his career in Accounting. We met Saturday morning at the campus for his portrait session.

We met Nathan at Knights Ferry on Friday evening for his Senior Portrait Session. The weather was great, and Knights Ferry didn’t dissapoint. He brought his guitar and a few other props. Here are a few samples of the session.

Jordon, Newman High School Senior Portraits

Jordon met us at Jacob Myer park in Riverbank for his class of 2010 High School Senior Portrait Session. He brought his guitar with him. All in all it was a good session. Jordon has got a great personality and very natural smile. We all had a good time, and even though it was cold and foggy, we captured some really good portraits.

Alex, Grace Davis High School Senior

Sunday morning at Knight’s Ferry was the place and time Alex chose for her Senior Portrait session. Great day, great location. Alex came prepared and the session was perfect. We ran over about 40 minutes and ended up with over 200 shots, but it was well worth it.

Alex chose “Runaway” by Love and Theft as her background music. Check out her video, we’ve added some new effects.

Maegan Is a Senior at Modesto High School. Her Senior Portrait Session was this past Saturday at Jacob Myer park in Riverbank. As you’ll see, she is a Red head with blue eyes and fair skin. Nothing more needs to be said.

Jumel, Enoch High School Senior

What a personality! Jumel has got to be a blast to hang out with. We had a great time with Jumel at his senior portrait session at Jacob Meyer park. Unfortunately, the contract photographer and/or school require a lot less personality be portrayed and the yearbook portrait had to be shot in front of a drab blue background, head and shoulders only. We shot some for the school to use, but these are a much truer portrait of who Jumel is.

James is very into music and his guitar. He’s between bands right now, but anxious to hook up again. We did a lot of portraits with his guitar, added a variety visual techniques, and the session really worked. He emailed an Mp3 of Saosin to use on his video. Take a listen.

Marissa had a great open personality and was really into portrait session. We photographed her Senior Portraits under the train tressle near the river. She chose a great Bob Marley song for her video.

Jake, Beyer High School Senior

Jake was a lot fun. We had photographed his sister’s newborn daughter a few months earlier. We started at Jake’s home on the river, and then after a shave, drove up river to Jacob Meyer Park to finish. Jake plays football at Beyer High School, so we did a lot of portraits with his Letterman’s jacket on.

Jake chose an old Ozzie Osborne song for his video.

Peggy Sue, Senior Portraits at Knights Ferry

As soon as I saw the name, Peggy Sue, on the schedule for a Senior Portrait, I knew it was going to be good session. She had to be the all american girl next door. And, she was… year book editor for her high school. By the way her senior class had only 12 students. We had a great day at Knights Ferry, and captured some really different looks.

Cheyenne’s senior portrait session at McHenry Mansion was very interesting. She had one of those faces that changed dramatically with light and angle. We were able to get some very different looks with just minor changes.

Justin was a cowboy through and through. He brought his horse, dog, and entire family to the Senior Portrait session at Jacob Meyer Park. It all made for a great morning. Unfortunately, we can no longer photograph horses at the park, but we’ve some other locations for that.

Tyler was a lot fun. We photographed his Senior Portrait Session at Knights Ferry, which is always a lot of fun because of the choices for back grounds. He was definitely hooked on Basketball, so we did a series with the basketball and with his letterman’s jacket.
